Thank you for your entry into the 76th OGA Tournament of Champions, May  22nd & 23rd, 2021 at Eagle Crest Resort – Ridge Course. Below you will find a link to your starting time for the first round on Saturday, May 22nd.  Upon the completion of Saturday’s round, the field will be repaired by gross score for the final round on Sunday, May 23rd. Starting times will be available Saturday evening, for Sunday’s final round.  These pairings will be available at www.oga.org or you may call 503-989-0069 between the hours of 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

COVID-19 Guidelines and Liability Waiver: All contestants and volunteers are required to agree to a waiver of liability before being permitted on site or allowed to participate; anyone refusing to agree to the waiver will not be allowed on property. By registering for this event, you are agreeing to be bound by its terms and conditions of the included document for the 2021 season as though you had signed it in person. This will only need to be signed once and will cover all events for the 2021 season.

 

Caddies and Spectators: Spectators and caddies will be allowed with no limit on the number of spectators. Both will be required to go through a symptom and temperature check upon arriving. Once approved to be on site, they will receive a wrist band that must be worn while attending the event.

 

Arrival and Check In: Players and attendees may not arrive at tournament site earlier than 60 minutes prior to the contestant’s starting time. Players are asked to report to their starting tee 5 minutes before their designated starting time. No starters boxes with supplies available; players are required to bring their own pencils, tees, ball markers, divot tools, etc.

 

Tournament Information and Results: Will all be provided digitally on the OGA’s website or through the USGA Tournament Management App, GGID: 2021OGATOFC. No onsite scoreboard will be available.

Practice Rounds: Players may call Eagle Crest at 541-923-4653 to make practice round arrangements. Practice rounds are available on a space available basis on Thursday, May 20th, and Friday, May 21st after 11am. Contestants are eligible for one complimentary practice round. Practice rounds are for contestants only and will not be extended to guests, caddies, or family members. You must identify yourself as a Tournament of Champions contestant in order to receive your free practice round. Players who wish to use their practice round are expected to abide by all club rules including pace of play.


Course Yardage: Yardages and Course Ratings are subject to change at any time by the Committee.

Format and Prizes: 36-hole stroke play competition with Men’s, Senior Men's and Women’s Divisions. All prize awards will be made on the basis of GROSS finish for the Men’s and Gross and Net for the Senior Men’s Division and Women’s Division. Course Handicaps will be based on the May 19th Handicap Index. Gift cards will be awarded to top finishers. Special awards from Jones Sports Co. will be issued to the Gross Men's, Senior Men's and Women's Champions.

 

Food & Beverage: The OGA will host lunch for all contestants on Saturday, Round 1 of the championship.   

 

Practice Range: The OGA will host warm up range balls for contestants. Limited time on driving range and practice putting green prior to round will be permitted.

 

Cart Reservations: Players must contact the golf course prior to the Championship to reserve a cart as well as determine what policies may be in place due to COVID-19 at the facility. Those who wish to ride in a single cart should expect to pay a higher fee.

 

Caddies: You may bring your own; Eagle Crest will not have caddies available.

 

Dress Code: Proper attire must be worn at all times.  Proper attire does not include spandex body wear, cutoffs, running shorts, short-shorts, tank tops, tee shirts, or denim of any kind or color, or unkempt clothing of any kind.  Neat and clean pants, skirts, slacks, cords, or appropriately hemmed, tailored shorts no more than 6 inches above the knee (men’s shorts must have a minimum of three pockets) are acceptable, as are sweaters and sweatshirts, golf shirts (men’s must have collars), women’s golf shirts and golf blouses.  Shoes must be worn at all times.  Contestants not in compliance with the OGA Dress Code will be Disqualified from the championship and removed from the golf course.

 

Lodging: Eagle Crest Resort is offering reduced room rates for OGA Tournament of Champions Contestants. Standard double queens are $169 per night. The king suite is $189 per night. Two-bedroom condos are available at $229 per night and 3-bedroom condos at $279 per night. Contestants must identify themselves as an OGA Tournament of Champions Contestant to receive the discount. OGA Pace of Play Guidelines: will be in effect during the championship.  Pace of Play guidelines will be available before each round at the starter’s tent.

Score Posting: will be done by the OGA for each round after the championship has been completed.  The OGA will post each player’s adjusted score to GHIN as a tournament score, for handicapping purposes.
