Bella Vista Golf League--Conditions of Play--Four-Ball Match Play (Net)

•  USGA Rules govern all play.  Please refer to Rule 2 and Rule 30-3.
• All matches are played from the white tees.
• Summer rules are in effect.  Do not improve your ball’s lie.
• Embedded ball rule in effect through the green.
• Hazards are marked:

o  Green-tipped white stakes indicate environmentally sensitive areas. Please do not enter.

o  Red stakes indicate lateral water hazards.

o  Yellow stakes indicate water hazards

• Out of Bounds is marked with white stakes.  Trespassing on private property is prohibited.

Format of Play:  Four-Ball Match Play (Net)

• Each player plays own ball.  Low net score wins for side. 
• Handicap Allowance:  The course handicap of all four players is reduced by the course handicap of the player with the lowest handicap, who then plays from scratch.  Each of the other three players is allowed 100 percent of the difference.  (See Decisions 9-4a/2, 9-4a/3).
