ELIGIBILITY: 
Entries open to male amateur golfers who meet ALL of the following:

-Entrant must be age 18 or younger and not attending college, as of August 26, 2020.

-Entrant must possess UNQUESTIONABLE Amateur Status.

-Entrant meet ALL of these Handicap and Membership Requirements:

Hold a USGA Handicap Index of 15.0 or less (Junior) or 25.0 or less (Boys), as of the August 13, 2020 Handicap Revision at a NJSGA member club/course. He must be listed on this club’s GHIN Handicap Roster at the time of entry.

Maintain good standing and remain on the above Handicap Roster through the Championship proper.

-If entering from a public facility, or Club Without Real Estate, entrant must be a permanent resident of New Jersey. Proof of residency may be required.

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: 
An eighteen (18) hole, stroke play qualifying round will be held on Monday, August 24. The low 15 scorers will advance to two days (four rounds) of Match Play on Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26 (two rounds of match play will be contested each day). All matches are 18 holes. The total field will be limited to the first 90 players whose entries are received by the NJSGA prior to the close of entries. The defending champion is exempt from qualifying and will be placed into the Match Play championship as the #1 seed. 

BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT: 
The boys championship (14 and younger) will be payed concurently with the Stroke Play portion of the Junior Championship and will be an eighteen (18) hole championship. Players who are eligible, can play in both events. If there is a tie for the championship, a playoff will be help immediately following play. 

Transportation: Motorized transportation is PROHIBITED throughout this Championship. 
Caddies: Prohibited in this competition.
Pull/Push Carts: Refer to specific Notice to Players for host club’s policy.

PRIZES: 
The Homer Lichtenwalter Championship Trophy will be presented to the Champion, engraved with his name, and displayed at his home club. Prizes awarded to the stroke play medalist, runner-up, and semifinalists.

FINAL DECISION REGARDING ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE NJSGA. THE NJSGA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT OR WITHDRAW AN ENTRY AT ANY TIME, BEFORE OR DURING A COMPETITION OR MODIFY THE CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM ANYTIME, IN ITS DISCRETION.
