21st Christman Cup

Registration Fee: $50 per player.
Format: 18-hole individual stroke play.
Eligibility: Open to members of GAP Member Clubs who are between 14 and 18 years of age, as long as they have not started their college career and have not reached their 19th birthday by the day of the event. Players must have a Handicap Index of 7.0 or lower. Any player who qualifies for the Junior Boys’ Championship (Championship Flight) or competes in the First Flight Final and whose Handicap Index is more than 7.0 will be eligible to compete.
Field Size: Limited to 78. Admission is as follows: the lowest handicaps of those entered or those who qualified for match play in the Junior Boys’ Championship (Championship Flight) or those who competed in the First Flight Final. Any ties at the highest acceptable handicap index will be settled by lot.
Practice Rounds: Are not be available for this event.
Starting Times: Begin at 7:30 a.m., in twosomes only, with 10-minute intervals starting on No. #1 tee..
Automotive Transportation: Automotive transportation is not permitted in this event. A player may carry his own bag or use a push cart, if the host facility allows the use of push carts.
Caddies: Are not be permitted.
Spectators: Spectators will not be permitted; except that any player who requires assistance in transportation to the tournament site may authorize one, and not more than one person, to spectate at the event, but only if such person is a member of the player’s immediate family and living in the same household as the player, provided that in all such circumstances such person may not provide any assistance to the player, may not indicate the line of play, may not handle the player’s clubs or equipment, and may not otherwise provide any services normally provided by a caddie.
Spectator Carts: One cart will be permitted for 1 chaperone for a player who requires transportation to the tournament. Chaperones are responsible for any fees associated with renting a cart for the day and must check in with the golf shop.
Prizes: To be determined.
Ties: All ties to be broken by using the USGA-recommended scorecard tiebreaking method.
