68th VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship

ELIGIBILITY

Open to VSGA members who have not reached their 20th birthday by July 28, 2020 and did not graduate high school prior to 2020. Participants must hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA Member Club in good standing and meet the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.  For additional information see the VSGA Championship and Tournament Eligibility Guidelines.

ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE

Players are required to submit an entry form with the entry fee of $150 by Monday, July 13, 2020.  Entry fee includes all course fees and lunch for all rounds.  In addition, the VSGA will negotiate a discounted practice round fee with the host club.

Championship Proper – 120 players (exempt players and players with the lowest Handicap Index)

54-hole stroke play competition (18 holes per day).  The field will be cut to the top 45 players and ties following round two.

PRIZES/EXEMPTIONS

Trophies will be given to the Champion and three low scorers in the 14-15 and 16-18 age groups. The Overall Champion also receives an exemption into the 2021 VSGA Amateur Championship and State Open of Virginia.
