51st VSGA Junior Girls' Championship
Monday, July 20, 2020 - Tuesday, July 21, 2020
ELIGIBILITY
Open to female golfers who have not reached their 20th birthday by July 20, 2020 and did not graduate high school prior to 2020. Participants must hold an active GHIN number issued by a licensed VSGA Member Club in good standing and meet the USGA Rules of Amateur Status. ENTRY FEE/DEADLINE
All participants are required to pay an entry fee of $90 which includes all course fees for both days of competition and lunch for both rounds of competition. In addition, the VSGA will negotiate a discounted practice round fee with the host club. A completed entry form, accompanied by the entry fee must be received by Monday, July 13, 2020.
FORMAT
36-hole, stroke play competition (18-holes per day) for all players. Girls will compete for the overall champion, as well as within their age groups. Age groups are 13 and under, 14-15 and 16-18. The overall champion may come from any age group. Girls age 13 and under may also compete in the VSGA Youth Championship (see separate entry form for details).
FIELD SIZE/TOURNAMENT MAKE-UP
The field will be limited to 120 players. If necessary, the field will be selected by lowest Handicap Index.
PRIZES
The overall Junior Girls' Champion will receive a prize and will have her name engraved on the Ann Lewis Trophy. Prizes will be awarded to the overall runner-up and the winner and runner-up from each age division.
CADDIE INFORMATION
Players may have a caddie, but he/she must meet the same age requirements for the tournament as the player.
