2020 RDGA Two Person Scramble

NEW RDGA TOURNAMENT PROCEDURES for 2020: The RDGA is providing new health and safety guidelines for players to follow when participating in RDGA Tournaments this year, based on New York State COVID-19 guidance as well as best practices being followed by leading golf organizations across the country. FORMAT: The annual RDGA Two Person Scramble features 18 holes of stroke play, with two person teams competing within flights in scramble format. In the Men's competition, there are two divisions - one is a Championship Division, in which the top-5 teams will earn exemptions into the starting field for the 2020 RDGA District Championship John H. Ryan Jr. Memorial, the second is the Regular Division, in which participants will compete in flights based on WHS GHIN Handicap. All men's teams will play at scratch within their flight for prizes. Women's teams will compete in two flights, Net and Gross, with winning teams and prizes to be determined in both. ALL handicaps will be taken from GHIN exactly one week prior to the event.
ABOUT: The RDGA Two Person Scramble is open to ALL amateur golfers - men and women, ages 18 and above - with an active USGA GHIN Handicap Index through a Rochester District Golf Association Member Club. If you've never played in an actual golf tournament before - or if you are a seasoned veteran - this is a fun way to enjoy the RDGA tournament experience!
