Eligibility
Male amateurs age 50 or older as of August 17, 2020.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$165. Deadline for entry is Monday, August 10th at 11:59 pm. Field limited to 84 players.
Format
36 holes of individual stroke play with two divisions. Players that wish to compete for the overall championship must enter the Senior Division. Champion to be determined in each division. The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round. Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.
Note: The Committee reserves the right to adjust the Playing Handicap of golfers who make exceptional scores as defined by the World Handicap System for subsequent rounds in multi-day events.
Divisions
Two divisions:
- Senior (any age - gross & net)
- Super Senior (age 60 & older - gross & net)
Players that wish to compete for the overall championship must enter the Senior Division.
Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at yardages for each division.
- 6,500 yards (Senior Division)
- 6,100 yards (Super Senior Division)
Skins Game
An optional Skins Game (gross & net) will be ran each day of the championship. Cost is $10 per day and payback is 100%. Please bring cash to give the starter prior to the start of each round if you wish to participate. Note: a player can only win one skin per hole (i.e. can't win a gross & net skin on same hole).
Practice Round
Practice round cost is $50 which includes golf, cart and practice facility usage on Sunday, August 16th. Please contact the golf shop at Crestview Country Club to schedule a practice round.
Food Service, Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Food service will not be available on Monday at the host club. Normal food service will be available on Tuesday.
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.
Defending Champions
Wichita's Mike Holloway returned to the winner's circle in the 39th Senior Amateur Championship at Firekeeper Golf Course.
In the Super Senior Division, Olathe's Peter Robbins picked up another tournament title.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are included for both rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee. Only two carts are allowed per starting time. If you are requesting a single rider cart due to COVID-19 concerns, please email that request to Casey Old (casey@clgolf.org) prior to the pairings being posted.
Spectator carts will NOT be available for the championship. Caddies are NOT allowed due to COVID-19.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event. You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.
Score Posting
Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System.

Crestview Country Club accepts all forms of payment for purchases.
When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
