Colbert Hills Golf Course opened in 2000 and was designed by PGA Tour legend Jim Colbert and Jeff Brauer. 

This is the second time Colbert Hills Golf Course has hosted the Kansas Amateur.  Topeka's Gary Woodland was victorious in 2005 Kansas Amateur at Colbert Hills.
