Eligibility
Open to all male amateur golfers regardless of age or affiliation.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$310. Deadline for entry is June 5th at 11:59 pm. Maximum field size is 52 teams.
Format
36 holes of four-ball stroke play (gross scoring only). Champion to be determined in each division. The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round. Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.
Qualifying for Heart of America Four-Ball Match Play Championship
The top 8 available teams from the final results of the Open Division of the Kansas Four-Ball Championship will be invited to participate in the 2020 Heart of America Four-Ball Match Play Championship to be held September 1-2 (rescheduled date) at Lawrence Country Club. More information on qualification, format and paying the $200 team match play entry fee will be made available to the qualifying teams.
Divisions
Two age divisions:
- Open (players of any age)
- Masters (both players age 30 & Older)
Practice Round
Eagle Bend Golf Course is a public facility. Practice rounds are available at the disrection and fee set by the host club. Please call (785) 748-0600 to arrange a practice round.
Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only. Access to both are subject to change due to COVID-19.
Defending Champions
In 2019 at Eagle Bend Golf Course, Joe Bultman & Nicklaus Mason bested three teams in a sudden death playoff to take the championship crown.
The team of Greg Goode & Sean Thayer cruised to a five shot victory in the Masters Division.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are included for the championship as part of your entry fee. Only one cart is allowed per team. Spectator carts will not be available.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event. You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.

Method of Payments
Eagle Bend Golf Course accepts cash or credit card for all purchases.
When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
