The MAPGA/VSGA will be conducting the 7th Annual Junior Four-Ball Championship. This event will be a two-day four-ball stroke play event with teams consisting of two juniors. A four-ball stroke play competition is when two players are partners; each playing his/her own ball until it is holed. The lower score between the two partners is recorded for each hole.

 

Eligibility:
Open to males and females who have not reached their 19th birthday by August 29, 2020 and are not attending college or technical school. Those juniors having graduated prior to 2020 are not eligible. Girls will play approximately 85% of the boys’ yardage. Players do not have to be a member of the MAPGA Junior Tour or the VSGA to compete.

 

Championship Proper:
36-hole four-ball stroke play competition (18 holes per day). A team can consist of two boys, two girls, or one boy and one girl.

 

Field Size/Tournament Make-Up: 
First 36 teams (72 players) on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Entry Fee/Deadline:
$200 per team which includes all course fees, range balls and lunch for each round.
Teams must sign up by Monday, August 24 at 11:00 PM.

 

Prizes:
The Champions will receive trophies. There will only be one overall division (no age groups).
