SCGA WOMEN’S AMATEUR QUALIFYING AND CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION

6th SCGA WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP:
Goose Creek Golf Club, Jurupa Valley
54 holes, stroke play.
Monday -Wednesday, August 17 - 19, 2020
FORMAT:
72 players will play two rounds.
Monday, August 17: Round 1 (18 holes stroke play).
Tuesday, August 18: Round 2 (18 holes stroke play)
Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 30 scores (plus ties)
Wednesday, August 19: Round 3 (18 holes stroke play)
All non-exempt players will participate in an 18-hole stroke play qualifying round. 72 players, including exempts, will advance to the championship. The Championship will be a walking only event.
QUALIFYING ROUNDS (18 Holes):
Monday, July 6: Wood Ranch GC, Simi Valley
Thursday, July 16: Arroyo Trabuco GC, Mission Viejo
NOTE: Players may only attempt to qualify once.
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to female amateur golfers with a USGA Handicap Index of 9.4 or below at the time of registration.
ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 8, 2020
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, June 28, 2020
PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted on scga.org/womensam after entries close.
ENTRY FEE: $125
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming there is still space available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and will only be accepted over the phone.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $10 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
EXEMPTIONS:
