2020 CGA Women's Brassie Championship

Championship Dates: Monday, August 10 - Tuesday, August 11

 

Registration Window: June 22 - August 2

 

Entry Fee: $380 per team

 

Field Size: 52 teams (104 players) 

COVID Note: Field size has been reduced to fit a tee time start. 

Note: Championship is filled on a first come, first served basis using the registration date and time. If a Championship is oversubscribed, a wait list will be maintained in case of cancellation.

 

Format: 4-Ball stroke play – Two competitors play as partners, each playing her own ball. The lower of the partner’s scores is the team score for the hole. Teams are pre-flighted according to combined playing handicap with approximately 8 teams per flight.

 

Handicap Index Details: 30.0. maximum.  

Note: It is recommended that the partners play within eight strokes of each other. If the difference between the two Playing Hanidcaps is greater than 8, the higher Playing Handicap will be reduced accordingly (new in 2020). All players will compete at 85% of handicap (new in 2020).

Cart/Caddies: Carts included in entry. Caddies are not allowed.

COVID Note: As of 6.22.2020 -  The cart policy for this facility is allowing double rider during the championship. Due to COVID-19 this is subject to change. 

 

Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded for the top gross and net finishes within each flight. Ties for low gross in the championship flight are played off in a hole-by-hole playoff. The winning team of the championship flight will also receive a trophy. For all other ties, prize money is combined and divided equally among tied teams.

Food & Beverage: A boxed lunch will be provided on the last day following play, included in entry.
