Championship Dates: Monday, June 22 - Wednesday, June 24
Registration Window: May 4 - June 15
Entry Fee: $205 per competitor
Field Size: 75 entrants.
COVID NOTE: Field size has been reduced due to facility cart fleet size.
NOTE: Championship is filled on a first come, first served basis using the registration date and time. If a Championship is oversubscribed, a wait list will be maintained in case of cancellation.
Format: 54 holes of individual stroke play
Registration in 2020: When registering, players will choose the division they wish to compete in. Players will remain in same division throughout the championship.
Championship Division:
There will be no flights within this division. All registered players within the division compete against each other for Gross prizes. The 73rd State Women’s Stroke Play Champion will be awarded from this division.
Estimated Yardage: 6200 +
Handicap Index Recommendation: 9.0 or below
2020 Inaugural Championship
Mid-Amateur Division (25 years or older):
There will be no flights within this division. All registered players within the division compete against each other for Gross prizes. The 1st State Women’s Mid-Amateur Stroke Play Champion will be awarded from this division.
Estimated Yardage: 5800 – 6000
Handicap Index Recommendation: 15.0 or below
Age Limit: Must be 25 years or older on or before June 22.
Handicap Division:
Competitors are pre-flighted by playing handicap. The committee will determine flight size based on player numbers and handicap spread. Gross and Net prizes awarded within each flight.
Estimated Yardage: 5500 - 5700
Estimated Yardage: 5300 – 5500 (If needed, based on division player numbers and handicap spread)
Handicap Index Max: 30.0
Note: All players will compete at 95% of course handicap (new in 2020).

Carts/Caddies: Carts are optional, included in entry fee. Caddies are optional.
As of 6.12.20: Double rider carts are now allowed at the facility.

Prizes: Merchandise gift certificates are awarded for the top finishes within each division/flight, approximately 40% of players. Championship and Mid-Amateur Division will compete for gross prizes only. Handicap Division will award both gross and net prizes.
- The player with the lowest gross score for 54 holes in the Championship Division is the State Stroke Play Champion and will receive a trophy. Ties for low gross in the Championship Division are played off in a hole-by-hole playoff.
- The Player with the lowest gross score for 54 holes in the Mid-Amateur Division is the State Mid-Amateur Stroke Play Champion and will receive a trophy. Ties for low gross in the Mid-Amateur Division are played off in a hole-by-hole playoff.
- For all other ties, prize money is combined and divided equally among tied players.
Practice Round Information: Tee times are subject to availability, can be made 5 days in advance by calling the golf shop at 303-460-9700. When making a tee time, identify yourself as a CGA Stroke Play participant to receive the pricing. Availability: June 16th, 18th, 19th after 11am. June 20th after 1pm. Pricing: $75 walking. $18+ cart. Range balls included.

Food & Beverage: A boxed lunch will be provided on the last day following play, included in entry.
COVID Note: Due to public health orders and the status of COVID-19, F&B for this event may change. Players will be notified once the decision has been made.
Score Posting: The CGA will post scores for players.
