Listed below is the contestant information for the 2019 JUNIOR. Carefully review this information ahead of your arrival at Onondaga Golf and Country Club.

Format, Rules and Ties
The format of the JUNIOR is 18-holes of individual stroke play. The USGA’s Rules of Golf and any Conditions or Local Rules adopted by the JUNIOR committee will govern play. If a tie exists in either division at the end of regulation play, a sudden death playoff will be used to determine the champion.
Registration
It is requested that all contestants register immediately upon their arrival at Onondaga.
Driving Range
Contestants will have access to the driving range and short game practice facilities starting at 11:00am. Complimentary range balls will be provided to players.
Shotgun Start
The JUNIOR will begin as a shotgun start at 12:30pm. Contestants will be instructed to gather at the cart staging area for announcements and instructions approximately fifteen minutes prior to the shotgun start.
Scoring
Upon completion of the round, contestants must promptly return their scorecards, which must be reviewed and signed by both the marker and the contestant.
Contestant Dinner
A buffet dinner will be served immediately following the completion of play. Guests are welcome to attend the dinner for an additional fee of $25 per person.
Awards Ceremony
Upon the completion of scoring, there will be a brief awards ceremony. It is requested that players and guests stay on grounds until the completion of this ceremony.

Rules and Regulations
Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings w/Mike Heib Memorial Junior Invitational
Contestants which play in both the 2019 Onondaga JUNIOR Invitational and the Mike Heib Memorial Junior Invitational at Corning Country Club on May 5th, will be eligible to earn Junior Golf Scoreboard points.
Spectators
Spectators, including parents and coaches, are welcome to watch the competition on the entire golf course. Spectators are to stay “outside the ropes”, meaning areas well outside of play. Spectators are not permitted to walk alongside a player, nor are they permitted to give instructions or advice.
Spectators are encouraged to use the club’s facilities, including ordering food/drink on a CASH basis. Credit cards are NOT accepted.
Range Finders
Range finders are permitted.
Caddies
No caddies or riding carts are allowed – you may bring your own pull cart.
Cell Phones
Cell phones are not allowed. There are free public phones in the clubhouse for participants' use.
Attire and Player Conduct
Onondaga requests golfers and participants to wear traditional golf clothes (no denim or cargo shorts). For boys, golf shirts must be always tucked in. Golf hats are not to be worn in the clubhouse.
There will be NO tolerance of foul language, club throwing or slamming, and poor sportsmanship.
Locker Rooms
Participants can use the locker facilities to put on their golf shoes and change after playing if they wish.
Marshalls
Members, playing the role of Marshalls, will be on the course to assist with speed of play, rules questions/issues, and general etiquette
