2019 CGA Western Chapter Championship - Battlement Mesa Golf Club

 

 

 

 

*This event also serves as a qualifying location for the 2019 CGA Amateur Championship. If you would like to be in that qualifier, you must sign up seperately for that qualifying division by clicking HERE. Players may also not only compete in the qualifier. This qualifier is an additional option to the championship being played. The total 36-hole score will be used to to determine qualifiers for the 2019 CGA Amateur Championship.

Dates: Saturday, July 13 - Sunday, 14, 2019

 

Eligibility: 

Open Division: Open to all active CGA Members. 

Senior Division: Open to all acitve CGA Members aged 53 as of July 13. 

Women's Division: Open to all active CGA Women Members.

 

Handicap Details: Women - 30.0 maximum. 

 

Divisions: Players who are 53 and up that may otherwise compete in the Senior Division have the option to register for the Open Division at the time of registration.

 

Registration Deadline: 11:59 p.m. MT, Thursday, July 11, 2019

 

Entry Fee: $130.00

 

Field Size: Maximum of 120 players.

Open & Senior Division: 100 players approximately. 

Women's Division: 20 players approximately. 

Format: 36 holes of individual stroke play (not cut) with both gross and net competitions for an Open Division, Senior Division and Women's Division.

 

Tee Times: Each day will be a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start

 

Carts: Golf carts are included in the tournament entry fee.

 

Driving Range: The driving range will be made available at 7:30 a.m. each morning at no additional charge to the player.

 

Prizes: All players will compete in both gross and net competitions within the Open, Senior and Women's divisions.  Players are only eligible to win prizes in one competition (higher gift card value). 

 

Practice Round Information: Practice rounds can be reserved for $22.00 for green fees, $18.00 for a cart and driving range access is $4.00. Please call the pro shop to make reservations.

CGA Amateur Championship: The top 3 finishers will be exempt into the 2019 CGA Amateur Championship.

 

Posting of Scores: The CGA will post each 18 hole round as Tournament scores to GHIN.
