Tournament Details:

 

Date: Monday-Wednesday, June 24-26 at Danville Country Club (Practice rounds on Sunday, June 23rd)

 

Location: Danville Country Club (1486 Lexington St, Danville, KY 40422)

 

Format: Match Play in three Divisions - Championship Division (Open to everyone), Mid-Amateur Division (open to players ages 25 and over), and Senior Division (open to players ages 55 and over). 

 

Seedings: All seedings will be determined by handicap, with the exception of the defending champion who will receive the #1 seed if entered in the tournament.

 

Flights: The Mid-Amateur and Senior Divisions will be in flights of 8. The title flight in the Championship division will be a flight of 32. Additional flights in that division will be in flights of 8.

 

Schedule of Events:

 

Sunday, June 23rd - Practice Round - Make your own tee time through the golf shop. There is an optional best ball, gross and net, two person team tournament in conjunction with the practice round. Cookout after play for all players (Guests may attend at $15/pp).

Monday, June 24th - First round of match play in all divisions. Second round of match play in the Championship division title flight. Banquet and business meeting following play for all players (Guests may attend at $25/pp).

 

Tuesday, June 25th - Quarterfinals and semifinals in the Chmpionship division title flight. Semifinals in all other flights. Optional 18-hole medal play tournament for anyone who lost a match on Monday.

 

Wednesday, June 26th - Finals in all flights. Presentation of prizes immediately following play.
