2019 - Women's Fourball Championship
Wanumetonomy G&CC - August 26, 2019

 

Eligibility:  Amateur golfers who have an active RIGA/GHIN handicap & are RIGA Members.

 
Tournament Format:
August 26, 2019 - Wanumetonomy G&CC

Two-Person Sign-up.  80 player maximum.
Strokes off low player

There is a max 10 stroke differential between partners
Players will play to 100% of their handicap.
 
Round Robin Format
Shotgun 8:30am

10 Divisions composed of four 2-person teams will be organized by handicap

 3 -9hole matches & a 3-hole playoff for divisions winners to decide overall Champions
 

First Division - will be lowest handicap four 2-person teams and they will play without shots during the 3-9 hole matches. They will play with strokes during the playoff, like all other flights.

Boxed Lunch following 2nd match and hors d'oeuvres following 3rd match are included

Handicaps used will be 8/15/2019

 

Play-off: The winning team in each Flight will compete in a 3-hole aggregate playoff using holes 16, 17 and 18.  Teams will play the 3 holes using handicaps and post their combined score.  The team with the lowest total is our Overall Fourball Champion. .  If tied following the 3 hole play-off there will be a chip off  on the 18th – 50 feet from the green.

 If there is a tie within the Flights for 1st place then we will look at the match between the 2 teams to decide the Flight winner

 
Entries - Form, Fee, Closing Date:  Entrants are solely responsible for securing and returning completed entry form by the due date.  Entries must be received at the RIGA office by August 18, 2019 and be accompanied by the entry fee of $190.00 per team.
 
You may enter online using a credit card at www.rigalinks.org  up until the entry deadline.  
 
Cart and Caddie policy: Carts are required and fees are included in the entry fee.
 
Dress Code: Proper dress is required at all times.    
Spikeless shoes are mandatory.
 

Conditions/Schedules:  The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein.  The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final

 

Important: Entries must be received by August 18, 2019. Completed entry form must be accompanied by entry fee of $190.00 (Made payable to RIGA). If you withdraw from an event after the registration deadline has closed, there will be no refunds given. You may find a substitution and work out payment between each other.  No Faxed Entries
