Starting times begin at 8:00 a.m. from the Hole #1.
Practice Round
Contact club for information concerning practice rounds.
Course Setup: Par: 72 Yardage: 6,659
All holes will be played from the Gold Tees. (USGA branded tee markers)
*Per information provided by the USGA, the 2019 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship is expected to be contested at a playing length of 7,100 yards.

Registration
No registration will be conducted at this site. Important: Report to the starting tee no less than 5 minutes prior to your assigned starting time. There is no call to the tee; it is the player’s responsibility to arrive on time.
Food & Beverage:
The club will have food and beverage services available. Cash or charges are accepted. Outside food and beverages are not allowed at the facility.
General Information:
The Rules of the United States Golf Association govern play. This information sheet, the USGA Rules hard card and any site-specific Local Rules and Conditions of Competition sheets are supplements to the Rules of Golf. Local Rules of the host course do not apply. The KGA-PGA, Inc. Rules and Competitions Committee, who are charged with conducting this site, shall settle all questions. Reference to the Rules of Golf may be found in the 2019 Rules of Golf book. Unless otherwise noted the penalty for breach of a Local Rule or Condition is: 2 Strokes.
Distance-Measuring Devices:
The USGA DOES permit the use of distance-measuring devices for its amateur championships.
Player/Caddie Carts:
*Golf carts are permitted (One Seat Policy 2019 – Either Player or Caddie / Not both). Pull/Push carts are also allowed for the qualifier.
Spectator Carts
USGA policy does not permit spectator carts. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Caddies:
Caddies are permitted, however you are responsible for making your own arrangements for a caddie.
Practice Range:
The practice range opens at least 45 minutes before the first starting time, weather permitting. Purchase of range balls will be the responsibility of the player.
Qualifying Positions:
There is one (1) qualifying spot for this site.
Play-off:
In the event of a tie for the qualifying place or the alternate positions, the players concerned shall compete in a hole-by-hole play-off. The starting hole and time shall be announced at the scoreboard immediately after the Committee has verified the results of the qualifier.
Withdrawals:
Please contact the USGA if you need to withdraw. If you need to withdraw any time after 5:00 on July 21, please call Brad Martin (859) 494-3548 and leave a message on the voicemail.
Attire & Conduct:
Proper golf attire is required. Blue jeans, designer jeans, tee shirts, and tank tops are prohibited. Shorts must be mid-thigh. Golf shirts with a traditional or mock collar are required. The host club is a “spikeless facility.”
Close of Competition:
The qualifying competition shall be deemed to have closed when all scores have been returned and the committee has approved the results.
