UTAH MID-AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

FORMAT
54-hole stroke play championship. The field will be cut after the second round to the low 40 and ties. In the event that we have a field with less than 80 players, we will cut to the low 50% and ties. There are no refunds for those players who do not make the cut.
FIELD SIZE
84 players
ELIGIBILITY
All amateur UGA members who have a single digit (9.9 or less) index as of May 15th and are 25 years of age or older as of the first day of competition are eligible to compete.
STARTING TIMES
Starting times will be e-mailed to players one week in advance of the tournament.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Players may arrange a practice round at their own expense. Please contact the golf shop at (562) 424-5211 to schedule a practice round. Green fees: $50 per player including cart. Practice rounds are based on a space available basis during the following limited times:
FLIGHT INFORMATION
All players will be competing for the Mid-Amateur Championship. Players 40 years of age or older as of the first day of competition will also be competing in the Masters division concurrently. Players 50 years of age or older as of the first day of competition will also be competing in the Senior division concurrently.
STATE AMATEUR EXEMPTIONS
- Last three champions
- Last two runner-ups
- 3rd-5th Place in 2018
- Low Masters in 2018
- Low Senior in 2018
REFUNDS AND WITHDRAWALS
If a player withdrawals prior to the registration deadline the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancellation fee. After the deadline the player will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued if a player withdraws/no-shows on the day of the event. A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day. In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for his original partner after the field has closed; he must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.
