Eligibility
Male amateur golfers age 50 or older as of October 22, 2019. Both players on team must be a KGA members.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$360. Deadline for entry is Monday, October 14th at 4:00 pm. Field is limited to 48 teams total.
Practice Round
Wichita Country Club is a private facility. Practice rounds will be available on October 14th or October 21st in the afternoon only. Practice round cost is $70 (cart included). Please call the golf shop at (316) 634-0412 to inquire and schedule a practice round.
Format
36 holes of four-ball stroke play with two divisions. Champion to be determined in each division. The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round. Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.
For Net Scoring, each player's handicap will be reduced to 90% of his course handicap based on slope of the tee distance being played, with handicap strokes applied on a hole by hole basis, and team's net score on a hole by hole "best ball" total.
Divisions
Two divisions available:
- Senior (any age - gross & net scoring)
- Super Senior (both players on team age 60 & older - gross & net scoring)
Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at approximately:
- 6,485 yards (Senior Division)
- 6,110 yards (Super Senior Division)
Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.
Defending Champion
In 2018 at Mission Hills Country Club, the team of Matt Murray & David Rismiller bested the field by four shots to claim victory. Murray and Rismiller finished with 65-67--132. The team of Mark Addington & Bryan Norton finished second.
In the Super Senior Division, KGA veterans Don Kuehn & Dave Harris entered the winners circle after edging the team of Bob Bezek & David Hamilton by one shot.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are provided for both rounds of the championship as part of your entry fee. Only one cart is allowed per team. Spectator carts will not be available.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event. You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.

Wichita Country Club accepts TBA for all purchases.
Close of Competition
The competition shall be deemed to have closed when the symbolic prize for the event has been presented, or if no ceremony, when all scores and results have been approved by the Committee.
