Eligibility
Open to amateur golfers (male or female). One team member must be a KGA member. Both team members must have a USGA Handicap Index.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$290. Deadline for entry is Monday, July 22nd at 4:00 pm.
Field Size
52 teams max
Format
36 holes of four-ball stroke play with two age divisions (Open and Junior). All teams will compete for gross and net scoring. Each team member will receive handicap strokes on those holes equal to or less than his course handicap. Each player's course handicap will be computed as of the last GHIN Revision prior to the event. The team will record the best gross and best net score made on each hole by the team.
The KGA reserves the right to adjust a contestant’s Handicap Index prior to, during, or after the event at its sole discretion. Should a contestant return a net score that falls outside the USGA’s estimate of “less than 250:1 odds,” that contestant may be assigned a revised handicap in multiple day events or in single day events¸ such will be grounds for upward modification of the net score (to result in odds no less than 250:1).
Divisions
Two age divisions:
- Open Division for teams that do not have a junior golfer on their team.
- Junior Division for teams that have a junior golfer. Junior Division teams are not allowed to accept gift certificates per KSHSAA rules.
Any team from either division may win the overall championship.
