Event Format

Competition will be 18 holes of stroke play. Teams will consist of 4 women golfers. That’s it! You chose who to play with! Teams may come from the same club or from different clubs, and all levels of play are welcome – part of your strategy is putting together a team with the winning combination of skills and handicaps. You must use each player’s drive three times. Team handicaps will be computed using the USGA formula below.

USGA HANDICAP FORMULA

THE RDGA WILL COMPUTE YOUR TEAM HANDICAP FOR YOU.  Simply put together a team and register to play!

A player – 20%
B player – 15%
C player – 10%
D player – 5%

The A player has the lowest handicap; the D player has the highest.

  • Flights will be based on the team handicap.
  • We try to have flights be equal in the number of teams and the stroke spread to give each team the best chance to win prizes.

Scramble Format Basic Rules:

  • The course will play from the RED Tees - (5,285 Yards)
  • Each player tees off with the best drive selected and marked.
  • All players will then play the next shot from within a club length (scorecard length on greens) of the mark.  Any ball selected requires each player to play the next shot from the same condition.  This process will continue until the team holes out to complete each hole.
  • Each player must use her tee shot at least 3 times during the 18 holes.
  • A player must not tap in a short putt before her partner has attempted her shot. Once the ball is holed, the team's score is fixed.
