AGES/ELIGIBILITY Open to male amateur golfers who are GSGA members and residents of the state of Georgia. |
CHAMPIONSHIP FEE Player’s advancing to the Championship will be responsible for a $150.00 Championship fee. This fee will be due from the player upon being transferred to the Championship proper in the online registration system. The credit card used to initially register will be charged $150.00 to complete the processing of the Championship fee. |

FIELD SIZE 144 |
FORMAT 72 holes of individual stroke play, 18 holes each day Thursday-Sunday. After 36 holes of play, the field will be cut to the low 70 players and ties. |
PRACTICE ROUND One practice round per player. Practice rounds will be available on the designated times below prior to the competition. Please call Ansley GC – Settindown Creek to reserve your practice round starting time after you have received your acceptance confirmation. Practice round cart and range fee is $30 plus tax. CASH ONLY will be accepted.
Monday & Wednesday, anytime two weeks prior to the competition, based on availability. The last permitted starting time on Wednesday, July 10 will be 3:30 p.m. |
YARDAGES & TEES A practice yardage sheet will be available after the close of entries on the event portal. Practice yardage sheets will also be available at the club. Yardages are approximate and may be adjusted due to inclement weather or other factors that may affect the playing conditions during the competition. |
GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE The golf shop and driving range will open by 6:30 a.m. each day of competition. |
STARTING TIMES Starting times for tournament play will be assigned by the GSGA and posted at the club the day before the competition starts. You may visit www.gsga.org for complete pairing information and starting times beginning July 4. |
REGISTRATION Formal registration will be held on site Wednesday, July 10 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and on Thursday, July 11 from 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. If you are not able to register in person during this time, please call the Ansley GC – Settindown Creek golf shop then to confirm you will be playing in round one on Thursday. As a part of registration, you will collect your player gifts and sign a thank you gift to the club. |
CADDIES Players are responsible for making arrangements for a caddie should they choose to use one. Players may ride in a cart or walk. The GSGA Cart Policy is in effect (player and caddie may not ride at same time). Pull carts are permitted. |
CARTS Practice round cart and range fees are $30 plus tax. CASH ONLY will be accepted. Tournament round cart and range fees are included in the championship fee. |
RULES OF PLAY/PACE OF PLAY/CART POLICY The GSGA Rules of Play, Pace of Play, Spectator Cart Policy and Code of Conduct Policies shall be in effect. Click here to view policies. |
PLAYER HOSPITALITY The GSGA cordially invites all players to lunch in their honor on both Thursday and Friday. A cut party social will be held Saturday afternoon following play. Details to follow. |
FOOD SERVICE Food service will be available in the clubhouse throughout the championship. CASH ONLY will be accepted. |
PRIZES Gift certificates will be awarded to the low 25 finishers. The champion will also receive an additional reward. |

REFUND POLICY A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries. Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
