SNGA Teams

Pacific Coast Amateur Team:

The Southern Nevada Golf Association is one of 15 Allied Golf Associations that count themselves as a member association of the Pacific Coast Golf Association.  Each year the top amateur golfers from around the world compete in the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship.  As a member association of the PCGA, the SNGA fields a three person team to compete in this highly prestigious championship.

The top two (2) players on the Pacific Coast Team points standings will receive an invitation.  The third team spot will be offered to any SNGA member in the top 500 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) at the time the team is to be finalized as long as that player has competed in at least one (1) SNGA 2-day Championship event or Nevada State Championship which earned points in the Pacific Coast team standings.  If there is no SNGA member who meets that WAGR requirement, the 3rd and final team spot will be awarded to the 3rd player on the Pacific Coast team points list.

  • SNGA 2-Day Championships (Must play in the Championship Division)

The 12-man team is comprised of six players from the Senior Division and six players from the Silver Division. The top three players in the Oliver Cup points standings in the Senior Gross, Senior Net, Silver Gross, and Silver Net will be invited to play on the Oliver Cup team.  If a top 3 player in any one of those point categories is not available to play, then additional players will be invited.
