The Maine Golf Scholarship Fund, formerly known as the Maine Caddie Scholarship, is the primary charity of Maine Golf.  A portion of all revenues generated by Maine Golf is set aside for the Fund, which has assisted more than 550 Maine students with the cost of higher education since its inception in 1950. To date we have given more than $2.0 million in scholarships to deserving Maine students, and we don't plan to stop there.

 

Candidates are high school seniors or undergraduate students who demonstrate an active participation in golf as a player and/or employee, who have a strong academic record, and who show financial need.

 

Once awarded, the Scholarship is renewable for up to four continuous years of undergraduate study. Approximately ten new Maine Golf Scholars are chosen in a typical year.
