Registration
Registration required at this event. Important: Report to the starting tee no less than 5 minutes prior to your assigned starting time. There is no call to the tee; it is the player’s responsibility to arrive on time.
Food & Beverage:
The club will have food and beverage services available. Outside food and beverages are not allowed at the facility.
General Information:
The Rules of the United States Golf Association govern play. This information sheet, the USGA Rules hard card and any site-specific Local Rules and Conditions of Competition sheets are supplements to the Rules of Golf. Local Rules of the host course do not apply. The Golf House Kentucky Rules and Competitions Committee, who are charged with conducting this site, shall settle all questions. Reference to the Rules and Appendix I may be found in the 2016-19 Rules of Golf book. Unless otherwise noted the penalty for breach of a Local Rule or Condition is: 2 Strokes.
Distance-Measuring Devices:
The KGA allows for the use of distance-measuring devices for its championships. All units must conform to USGA guidelines.
Pace of Play Guidelines and Procedures:
The KGA uses a pace of play guideline for all competitions. This information is located on our website at kygolf.org.
Player/Caddie Carts:
Golf carts are provided for all players. Pull/Push carts are allowed, if preferred.
Caddies:
Caddies are permitted, however you are responsible for making your own arrangements for a caddie.
Practice Range:
The practice range opens one hour before the first starting time weather permitting. Range balls will be set up at the practice range and are complimentary for competitors only before the stipulated round or a play-off.
Play-off:
In the event of a tie for first place in the overall championship, the players concerned shall compete in a hole-by-hole play-off. The starting hole and time shall be announced at the scoreboard immediately after the Committee has verified the results of the qualifier.

Attire & Conduct:
Proper golf attire is required. Blue jeans, designer jeans, tee shirts, and tank tops are prohibited. Shorts must be mid-thigh. Golf shirts with a traditional or mock collar are required. The host club is a “spikeless facility.”
Close of Competition:
The competition shall be deemed to have closed when all scores have been returned and the committee has approved the results.
