2) Add Optional Buffet Dinner

  • Select the number of players (0 - 2) who will be opting in to the buffet dinner.
  • The total fee for the buffet dinner will be split equally across all team members if split payment option is chosen.  This means all players will get charged a portion, even if both are not are attending!  If this is problematic, a manual payment for dinner can be requested by emailing president@lpgaamateurscanada.ca

3) Split Payment to Each Team Member

  • The Team Captain registering the team will only need to pay for themselves, as they will have the option (click the split payment box to choose it!) to have the system send an email notification to each teammate to pay their own registration fees.

4) Cancellation & Substitutions

  • Player substitutions on teams will be permitted until July 3.  Substitutions must be communicated to the Events Committee immediately.  If a player needs to withdraw after July 3 because of an emergency (eg. medical emergency or a death in the family), that player may, with the approval of the Events Committee, be replaced by a player whose handicap is within 8 strokes of the withdrawing player.
  • If a team withdraws from the competition prior to July 3, a 50% refund will be available; a full refund will only be available if the team's slot can be filled by another team. After July 3, there will be no refund. All refunds will be subject to a $10 administration fee.

Event Format and Eligibility

Format Information:

  • In "scramble" format, the team decide after each shot which one is the best shot. Each player on the team plays their next shot from that spot. The group then plays this way until the ball is holed out. The team must use 3 tee shots from each player.
  • In "alternate shot" format, one player in the team will tee off on holes 1,3,5,7 and 9 and the other player will tee off on holes 2,4,6 and 8. After the tee shot, the other player will play the second shot, and players will alternate shots until the ball is holed out.
  • In "better ball" format, each player will play their own ball on every hole. The lowest net score for the pair will be recorded as the team score for that hole.

Handicap Information:

Both players must carry a handicap* to be eligible for the Team Net prizes.

Team handicaps will be determined and applied as follows:

  • Scramble - the team handicap will be 50% of the average of the two players' Course Handicaps
  • Alternate Shot - the team handicap will be 100% of the average of the two players' Course Handicaps
  • Better Ball - individual handicaps will be 100% of each players' Course Handicaps.

Guest Eligibility:

Guests who have never been an LPGA Amateurs member or who have never participated in an LPGA Amateurs Ontario event are welcome!

  • Registrants who have previously participated in an LPGA Amateurs Ontario event or are inactive members will be required to activate their membership to be eligible.

"Nestled in the amazing vistas of Ariss Valley are 27 holes of beautiful yet challenging golf. Our course is truly a journey through wooded landscapes, island greens and a valley creek. The three courses on these grounds — Pines, Willows, and Lakes —are evenly balanced with 2 par 3’s, and one par 5 on each course. All three 9’s are par 35.
