HOW TO ENTER

 

To enter this L&R LCGA junior event, you will first need to be registered with the County Association.  If you have not already done so, please click the following link and

complete your details.

Information

 

36 Hole County Championship, 18 Hole Championship & 9 Hole Championship

 

36 Hole Championship Handicap Index Limit of 18.0 and under

 

18 Hole Championship Handicap Index Limits 18.1 - 36.0

 

9 Hole Championship Handicap Index Limits 36.1 - 54.0

Each Competition attracts its own Prizes

 

1.  Competitors must be under 18 years on 1 January in the year of the competition. 

2.  Competitors shall be members of clubs affiliated to L&R LCGA.

3.  The Championships shall comprise three separate competitions:-

36 Hole Championship consisting of two 18 hole qualifying rounds for players with Handicap Index 18.0 or below at the time of entry

18 Hole Championship consisting of one 18 hole qualifying round for players with Handicap Index 18.1 to 36.0 at the time of entry

9 Hole Championship consisting of a 9 Hole qualifying round for players with Handicap Index 36.1 to 54.0 at the time of entry

4.  The winner of the 36 Hole Gross Championship will represent the County in the EG Junior Champion of Champions Competition. 

5.  The Gross & Nett Champions of the 36 hole Championship will be entered for the Daily Telegraph Competition.  

6.  No competitor is allowed to have a caddy or trolley pusher, except in the 9 hole competition.

7.  There must be NO on course coaching/advice to players.

8. A competitor shall not knowingly make use of any drug to enhance her performance. Infringement will result in disqualification.

9. A competitor arriving up to 5 minutes late on the tee will be penalised 2 shots. After 5 minutes, disqualification, (extenuating circumstances at the Organiser’s discretion).

10. The 2025 Information and Consent Form MUST be completed and returned before the Tournament takes place.

11. PRIZES

  • In the case of a tie, positions will be decided on countback
  • No player may receive more than one trophy

12. COURTESY ROUNDS  are at the discretion of the Host Club
