Four-Ball Championship

Entries Open: March 14 at 9 am

 

Entries Close: May 21 at 5:00 pm.

 

Registration Fee: $490 per team (includes cart fees, range fees, and lunches)

 

Format: 36-hole four-ball stroke play competition, two-day event. Two-person male and female teams will compete in separate divisions.

 

Eligibility: Open to any male and female amateur golfers who are members of a Member Club or an Individual Member of the Pennsylvania Golf Association.  Players need not be members of the same club.

 

Divisions:  Amateur Men's Division (any age) and Amateur Women's Division (any age). Each division will have a separate set of tees.  

 

Field: Limited to 60 teams.  Selection of the field will be based on the lowest combined indexes in each division as of the close of entries.

 

Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is permitted.  Cart fees are included in the entry fee.

 

Food & Beverage: A lunch buffet will be provided each day of competition from approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is included in the entry fee. Additional F&B purchases will be available.

 

Practice Rounds: Call the Pro Shop at CC of York to schedule a time. 

 

Hotel: TBA

 

Pairings: Play will be in foursomes. First round results will determine second round pairings. 

 

Start Times: The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry form, will determine pairings and tee times.

 

Ties: In the event of a tie for the Four-Ball Championship, there will be a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. All other ties will be broken by matching scorecards in accordance with USGA guidelines.

 

Prizes: The Mayor’s Trophy to Men's Champions, Trophies to Champions in each Division, Pro Shop credit to top teams in each Division.

 

Weather: Should weather delay extend beyond the end of the scheduled tournament dates, the competition will not be extended, and the competition will be shortened.
