2025 Men's Opening Day Scramble

9am Shotgun Start

Banquet lunch immediately following the round along with prizing awards 

 

Tournament Entry Fee

 

$55 for Full Play/Limited/Intermediate Members

$90 for Social/Twilight Members

 

Format of Play

 

Single registration, all teams will consist of 4 players, teams will be created by the tournament director with every attempt to make all teams roughly balanced by total handicap indexes.

 

Playing handicap allowances will be adjusted as per WHS guidelines for a scramble tournament as follows:

25% / 20% / 15% / 10% from lowest to highest

 

All play will follow the Florida Scramble format as follows:

 

All four players tee off, the “best” shot is selected, the players who’s shot was chosen will not play the following shot, the remaining three players hit the following shot, this process will continue (the player who’s shot is chosen will not hit the next shot)  until the ball reaches the green at which time all players will be able to putt, with the process repeating until the ball is holed (the ball must go in the hole)

 

Each player will be required to contribute 3 tee shots during the round.

 

All play will be from the White Tees for this event.

 

Any ties will be broken using USGA Count Back (not via playoff or chip off)

 

Prizing will be awarded to Low Net, Low Gross, and a Net Skins competition.

 

All scoring will be done using the Golf Genius Mobile App.
