Ringer Tournament
The best (Net and Gross) individual score (so shambles, scrambles, alternate shot etc. do not count) on each hole during the season is scored to create a best 18-hole score (Net & Gross) for the 2025 season.
The Ringer Tournament will be flighted based on handicaps. Breakdown of flights, prize money and rules will be determined based on the number of golfers who sign up. More to come…
Challenge Coin
This has been created as an additional means to create interaction and competition between members beyond normal tournaments. You can purchase 1 to 4 coins (yes, these are actual metal coins) to start the season and then challenge another member(s) to a Challenge Coin match (head on or scorecard) during a tournament, casual play or out on your own. A running total of coins won and lost is kept with payouts (and bragging rights) at the conclusion of our season. Full Challenge Coin Rules and Payouts
Individual Match Play (New Format)
Exciting changes are coming to Match Play in 2025! Players will compete in PODs, where each participant faces off against the other members within their POD. A POD will be four competitors. The winner of each POD will advance to the championship bracket to compete for the title of Individual Match play Champion of their flight. This means each player should play 3 matches in their Round Robin POD play. Full Match Play Rules and Payouts (click tab at top of link)
2-Man Team Match Play (New for 2025)

Season Long Team Tournament (New for 2025)
Teams will be 8 man teams assigned by the club. Teams will be selected by index such that all teams have approximately equal handicaps. Eligibility is limited to returning RCMC members. However the RCMC board reserves the ability to not include previous members with low past participation as well as allow others to play who show a history of consistently playing golf.
All events that count towards Ringer Tournament will also be used in the Season Long Team Tournament. At each event, the top four scores for each team will be used to determine the team's score. Scoring will be Net only. Teams will earn points based upon finishing position at each event. At the end of the season there will be a team championship event.
Casual Play
Raccoon Creek Golf Course reserves 2 foursomes for RCMC members on Friday afternoons and 3 foursomes on Sunday morning. This is strictly a courtesy accommodation to the club as a result of our relationship with the course. The Friday tee times will most often be in the early afternoon, but that is not a guarantee. The Sunday morning tee times are generally early in the first part of the season, around mid-morning, but tend to migrate a bit later as the season moves closer to fall. Invites for casual play will include the tee times in the invite. That way you will know what you are signing up for.
Casual Play also includes cash games. This year we will have low net and skins for each casual play session. Each Player will contribute $20 to the prize pool. Your prize pool contribution will be collected by a designated person on the date of casual play. You must be present at the end of the day to collect any winnings.
