EVENT ELIGIBILITY
Open to Primary Golf Members & National Members,
Note: Event will count toward rounds for National Members.

 

FORMAT
Teams consist of 2 Members making up
Flights of 8 based on Total Team Index.
TEAMS MUST SIGN UP AS A PAIR,
ANY “TBD” PLAYERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
*The field has a max of 48 teams. If 48 teams aren’t reached, then the field
will revert to only 40 teams. If 40 teams aren’t reached, then the field will
revert to 32 teams and so on. Any additional teams from these numbers will
not be in the event and will remain as alternates in case of any dropouts.
In the result of a tie in total index for flighting, the team with the
lowest individual index will be placed in the lower flight.
Note: sign up early as teams are ranked in the order they sign up.
Those last to sign up run the risk of not being in the event.*
Four Ball Match Play with a Consolation Bracket
Note: The Championship Flight will be playing from the Gold tees for both the event
and the potential shootout. The participant’s handicaps will be adjusted accordingly.

March 1st, then entry opens to National Members)

(Use low handicap from the past 12 months as of August 19th)

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Wednesday, August 20th 6:00 p.m. Stag Night and Auction
Friday, August 22nd 10:00 a.m. Tee Times off #1 (1st Round)
Saturday, August 23rd 8:00 a.m. Tee Times off #1 (2nd Round)
Sunday, August 24th 8:00 a.m. Tee Times off #1 (Championship)
12:30 p.m. Consolation Shoot-Out
2:30 p.m. Old Pal Shoot-Out
SHOOT-OUTS
If there is an additional flight with at least four teams on the waitlist
they will form their own flight. The four teams will play round robin
matches to determine the winner of the flight. Head-to-head matches will
determine the winner of the flight in the event of a tie. The winner of the
flight will advance to the consolation shoot-out following play.
Total-Ball format with handicap strokes where they fall will be
used for both the consolation and championship shoot-outs.

 

PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded to Low Net and Low Gross winners in each
Flight as well as Closest to the Pin and Shootout Winners.
Ties will be broken in the following order:
The winner of the head-to-head match
Match 5 results going backward until the tie is broken.
If a tie still cannot be broken, both teams will
split the payout and make the shootout.
