$100 toward event purse & trophy (Carts and Caddies Not Included)

EVENT ELIGIBILITY
Open to all Primary Male Members & Male National Members.
Note: Event will count toward rounds for National Members.

FORMAT
The Langford Cup is Aurora Country Club’s season-long individual match
play championship. The field of 64 will be divided by handicap into two
brackets of 32; a low handicap bracket and a high handicap bracket. The
winner of each bracket will advance to face each other in the championship
match. First round losses will be placed into a consolation bracket. All seeds
within brackets are drawn randomly, except for the previous year’s
semi-finalists, who shall receive the 1st – 4th seeds based upon their finish.

ENTRY DEADLINE
Saturday, March 29th

FLIGHTS/PAIRINGS RELEASED
Sunday, March 30th (Handicaps will be used from the start date of each round)

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Matches MUST be completed by each round’s deadline. If a date to play
the match cannot be agreed upon, the event deadline will serve as the
match date with a noon start. If the match still isn’t completed by the
deadline, the match will be determined by a coin flip:
Round of 64 (if necessary) Sunday, May 18th
Round of 32 (Consolation Round 1) Sunday, June 29th
Round of 16 (Consolation Round 2) Sunday, July 27th
Quarterfinal Rounds Sunday, August 31st
Semifinal Rounds Sunday, September 14th
Championship Matches Sunday, October 5th

PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded for each Match won after advancing to the round
of 32 (tiered higher the further you advance) and the consolation bracket winner.

Full purse paid to winners.
