Each player will hit a tee shot. The best shot will be selected. Each player will play a shot from the selected position. Play will continue in this manner until the ball is holed. A tee shot from each player must be used on a PAR 3, PAR 4 and PAR 5 hole. Teams will receive 15% of the total of the 4 player’s handicap

 

 NOTE:  If a 4 Man team only has 3 players, a rotation of the 3 players will be used. The team will have 4 shots same as a full team.  The order will be selected prior to play starting

This is our 2 Man team event held over 3 days and it is flighted. 

This event will be held at the January 11th, 14th and 18th.

Rounds will be played on Wednesday - Saturday - Wednesday

  There are 3 different formats of play. 

The 1st round is Better Ball

 2nd round is a Chapman 

3rd round is a Scramble

 

*Team members must have a handicap difference no greater than 10

2 Man Chapman

 

Each player will hit a tee shot.

Each player will then hit his partner’s ball for your second shot.

The best shot will then be selected.

You will alternate shots from the selected position until the ball is holed.

 

*The team will receive 40% of the 2 players’ total handicap

2 Man Scramble

 

Each player will hit a tee shot. The best shot will be selected. A minimum of 6 tee shots must be used from each player.

 

*The team will receive 25% of the 2 players’ total handicap

 

 

 

Stableford

 

 

 

 

Each player will play their own ball through the hole. Each player will record their gross score. A Stableford points system will be used to award points for the players’ NET score.

Points :

Eagle or better 5

Birdie 3

Par 2

Bogey 1

Double Bogey and up 0

 

 

Players will receive 100% of their handicap.

4 Man Scramble

 

Each player will hit a tee shot.  You will then select the best ball and scramble until the ball is holed. Each player will play a shot from within 1 club length of the selected position, 6 inches on the greens. 

 

 The team will receive 25% of the total of the 4 players’ handicap.

On holes 7 thru 12 you will count the 2 best NET scores for the team. On holes 13 thru 18 you will count the 3 best NET scores for the team.  Each player will receive 100% of their handicap

The Blue Tee will be the Championship Tee.

 

 IF YOU WISH TO COMPETE TO BE THE OVERALL CHAMPION YOU MUST PLAY THE BLUE TEE FOR THIS EVENT

You will be assigned flights based on your current default tee

Team Stableford

 

Each player will play their own ball through the hole. Each player will record their gross score. A Stableford points system will be used to award points for the player’s NET score.  Stableford points will be totaled for the team score.

Double Bogey and up 0

 

Players will receive 100% of their handicap

Individual Flighted Net Skins

 

Players will Compete within their respective flights.  

The lowest net score on each hole will result in a skin.

If their is a tie for the lowest score there will be no skin awarded for that Hole.

 

Each player will receive 100% of their handicap. 

1 Gross and 2 Best Net

 

All players will play their own ball through the hole.

The best gross and two best net scores will be counted as team score.

Pairings will be ABCD.

 

 

Yellow Tee Scramble

3 Drive Minimum Per Player

 

Each player will hit a tee shot

The team will select the best tee shot

Each player will hit a shot from the selected position.

This process should be followed until ball is holed.

 

If a team has 3 players a rotation of the fourth shot

shall be followed by their position in the group (in Golf Genius).

 

Heartless Scramble

 

 

 

Each player will hit a tee shot.  The best shot will be selected.  Each player will play a shot from the selected position.  Play will continue in this manner until the ball is holed.  Each player with a handicap of 26 or greater must use his ball a minimum of 2 TEE shots and 2 SECOND shots.  All other players must use their ball a minimum of 3 TEE shots and 3 SECOND shots. Teams will receive 15% of the total of the 4 player’s handicap.

Individual Second Chances Better 9

 

Each player will play his own ball. Record your First Nine Gross Scores. 

If you improve on your Front Nine Score edit your original Gross score which is your game score.

Your best 9 holes net will be the game score.

 

Players will receive 100% of their handicap

2 Better Balls

 

All four players will play their own ball through the hole. Each player will record their gross score. The 2 best NET scores will be recorded for a team score. Each player will receive 100% of their handicap

Individual Better Nine

 

 

Each player will play his own ball.

We will be throwing away your 9 worst scores.

Your best 9 holes net will be the game score.

 

Players will receive 100% of their handicap

Step-Aside Scramble

 

 

 

Each player will hit a tee shot. The best shot will be selected. The person whose shot was selected will STEP ASIDE and not hit the next shot. After the tee shot, only 3 players will hit each shot until the ball is holed.  Teams will receive 15% of the total of the 4 players’ handicaps
