Alfred Dunhill Schools Challenge

Following the success of last year’s Alfred Dunhill Schools’ Challenge and the high standard of golf displayed by the contestants, we would like to invite students from schools across the country to participate in this year’s competition.

 

Location: Carnoustie Golf Links 

Course: Carnoustie Buddon Course

Date: Sunday, 21st September 2025

Tee Times: From 8:00am

 

The main competition will be decided by one 18-hole Stroke Play round, with the player returning the lowest net score in each category being declared the winner. The four categories are:

 

Junior Boy (S1-S3)

Junior Girl (S1-S3)

Senior Boy (S4-S6)

Senior Girl (S4-S6)

 

In addition, there will be an overall Scratch Prize for the lowest gross score across all four divisions.

 

All students competing in the event will be given complimentary passes for the final day of The Dunhill Links Championship to be played at The Old Course in St Andrews on Sunday 5th October. Please email Pash Van der Merwe (Pash.VanderMerwe@img.com) your interest in attending who will arrange a complimentary code for you to redeem your tickets (each competitor is eligible for 3 x tickets).

Entries will open on 14th August and close on Sunday 14th September, or earlier if the maximum number of entries (99 competitors) is reached.

 Tee Times will be available approximately 3 days before the event and will be accessible via the Tee Sheet tab in the menu.
