2025 TMGA Junior-Senior Championship

WITHDRAW DEADLINE:  Wednesday, March 19th at 5:00 PM Central

*Teams can still register after the withdraw deadline to get on the pending list for any open spots.


ENTRY FEE:  $3,500 per team; the entry fee includes; green, cart, and range fees for each round, as well as tee gifts at registration, lunch each tournament round, and a player's reception the evening of the practice round.

 

*Lodging will not be included in this year's tournament entry fee. Players/teams will be in charge of making their own lodging reservations.

 

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY, PROCEDURE & INFORMATION

Entries are open to male amateur golfers with one team member who has reached their 18th birthday on or before the first round of competition (April 14th) and one team member who has reached their 55th birthday on or before the first round of competition. All tournament applicants (both team members) must be a member of a TMGA Member Club or make an annual contribution ($100) to the Trans-Mississippi Golf Association. *Entries will be accepted at the discretion of the Trans-Mississippi Tournament Committee.

 

FORMAT & DIVISIONS

The Championship will be contested over 54 holes of Four-Ball Stroke Play with two Divisions; Scratch and Handicap. The scratch division teams must have a combined handicap index at 8.0 and under. The handicap division will have a combined handicap index over 8.0. The Junior and Senior players will play from separate tees and yardages, and separate Champions will be recognized in both divisions. *Teams with an index over 8.0 may choose to participate in the scratch division.

 

ON-SITE CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION

All competitors must register with Trans-Mississippi Golf Association staff prior to the start of the Championship. Players that do not register may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION. Official tournament registration will be held at Paiute Golf Resort before the start of the first round or during scoring for the first round.

 

STARTING TIMES & PAIRINGS       

Starting times and pairings for the first and second rounds will be made available no later than Thursday, April 10th by 5:00 PM. Copies will also be distributed at registration, online, in the TMGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop. Final round starting times and pairings will be available in the evening preceding play at www.trans-miss.org, in the TMGA Tournament Office and the Golf Shop. Final round starting times will be re-drawn based on total score following the second round of play.

 

NO PRACTICE ROUND

There is no official practice round for the tournament. Any additional rounds outside of the tournament rounds should be made and paid for directly with Paiute Golf Resort. The resort is offering discounted practice rounds on Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th.

 

PARTNER SUBSTITUTION

Partner substitutions for the Trans-Mississippi Junior-Senior Championship are permitted. Substitutions for teams will be permitted prior to the start of competition and individuals must meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the Trans-Mississippi Golf Association, as well as the specific tournament requirements (i.e., age, USGA Handicap Index, etc.). A player may not select a substitute partner from those players who are already in the Championship field. Players who are on the waitlist are eligible substitutions. WITHDRAWAL & NO SHOW POLICY          

If you find you cannot compete in the Championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Trans-Mississippi staff Amanda Kolb at (469) 458-0806 or email at akolb@trans-miss.org. If you do not officially withdraw, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future Trans-Mississippi Championships. Any team withdrawing prior to the registration close deadline will receive a full refund, less a $100.00 administrative fee. Any withdrawals after the registration close deadline will not receive a refund unless a spot is filled by a team on the wait list in the same division.
