ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Championship consists of 18 holes of stroke play on the day of competition.

 

The competitor with the lowest gross score will receive the George Stubbings Salver and be the Warwickshire Men's Senior Champion for the year.

 

The champion will qualify to represent Warwickshire in the English Senior Champion of Champions event held at Woodhall Spa.

 

 

The competitor with the lowest gross score aged 55 - 59 will receive the Directors Cup.

The competitor with the lowest gross score aged 60 - 64 will receive the Jim Dean Cup.

The competitor with the lowest gross score aged 65 - 69 will receive the Carl Bretherton Salver.

The competitor with the lowest gross score aged 70 and over will receive the Cyril Jewsbury Salver.

The competitor with the lowest nett score will receive the Bill Dudley Evans Salver.

 

Age and handicap index limits apply, these can be found in the Terms of Competition.

 

Entry Fee is £35, which includes a 2 course meal following the round.

 

The Top 8 finishers in the championship (who make themselves available by ticking the box at registration) will qualify for the Senior Matchplay Championship.  This will be drawn after the Championship and consists of 18 hole knockout matches and an 18 hole final.  

 

In the event of a player having to withdraw from this championship after the closing date the entry fee cannot be refunded.

 

Closing date for entries is 23rd June 2025.
