Greetings Oneka Ridge Golfers,
With the end of the outside golf season ending soon we are getting ready for our winter simulator league season. We will be offering two simulator leagues similar to last year. The first is a Senior League (55+) and we will also have a 2 Person League. These are both floating leagues which means you can play any day from Monday to Sunday. If you have a vacation planned, you can play ahead weeks, but you cannot play back. The leagues are 15 weeks long and run from November 18th thru March 16th. These are partner leagues for men and women which offer a 2-person event each week along with a low net individual and low gross individual event (for the 2 Person League) each week. These leagues are both handicapped for scoring purposes. You will be able to establish a simulator handicap (different system than GHIN) after you play 2 rounds on the indoor simulators. If you are a returning player, we have your handicap from last year. If you are new, we recommend coming in to practice and play 2 rounds to establish a simulator handicap before the league starts.
We are offering an early bird special on the 10-hour punch cards this year. The offer is good from now until November 18th. For the Senior League the price will be $275 for a 10-hour card (regular price $320) and for the 2 Person League $375 for a 10- hour card (regular price $420).
2024 prices on the simulators are $32 per hour before noon Monday through Friday and $42 per hour after noon and weekends.
The league fees this year are as follows:
Senior League: $130 per player
2 Person League: $140 per player
Included in the league fee are the payouts each week for game winners and will be paid via Pro Shop credit at the end of the year. Also included in that fee is the food and games at the opening meeting and closing banquet. For both the Senior League and 2 Person League, we are keeping the same format as last year with a different 2 player event each week and a low net each week with a 36-hole combined score championship week #14 and week #15 to determine the winter league champions. The 2 Person League will also have a low gross individual each week. Additionally, the 2 Person League has a weekly Low Net and Skins Game. These are OPTIONAL cash games. Cash games can be paid week to week or upfront for the whole year. $5 for Low Net and $5 Skins Game. Please bring cash to the opening meeting if you plan to pay your cash games for the entire year.
Deadline to sign-up for the winter leagues is Monday, November 4th. Please pay online to secure your spot. We can have 54 teams play this season, so don't wait to sign-up.
