Only write down gross/natural scores on the scorecard. USGA rules apply to today's event with the following local rules: Blue stakes on Holes 1 and 14 only are in-course out of bounds for tee shots only. A ball crossing a public road and coming to rest on the other side of the road is out of bounds even though it may be in bounds on the next hole. A drop area will be available on hole number 5.
The MAX SCORE on a given hole may not exceed 10 gross strokes. If you or the teams' score has reached ten strokes, pick up and move on to the next hole, and write a 10 on the scorecard.
If you purchased a mulligan you may use it for any shot, including a shot for a proximity prize. Each player may only have 1 mulligan to use throughout the round. Mulligans are $10 cash per player will double as a split the pot ticket to be paid out in cash after the round.
Team Deuce Pot is an optional $10 cash per team. If you make a 2 on any hole split the cash pot, with any other 2's made in the field.
Team Skins Game is an optional $10 cash per team. Make the lowest gross score on a hole and split the cash pot with any other skins made in the field.
Chapman Rules Holes 4-6 and 13-15:
Each player tees off. Hit your partners ball for the second shots. Choose the best of the two options and ALTERNATE shots until the ball is holed. No Gimmies. If ball that was selected was hit by your partner, you would hit the 3rd shot and vise versa. If a ball is hit into a penalty area, the penalty shot does not count in the alternation of players (If I hit it in the water, we would take the penalty and my partner would hit the next shot.)
Chapman handicaps will be calculated by using 60% of PlayerA and 40% of PlayerB.
Best Ball Rules, Holes 7-9 and 16-18:
Each Player plays his own ball. The team score will be calculated by using the better of the two partners scores. At least 1 player must hole out, no gimmies. If the other player has hit more times than their partner (allowing for handicap) they may pick up to help with pace of play.
Best Ball handicaps will be calculated by using 75% of the players handicap.
Scramble Rules Holes 1-3 and 10-12:
Each player tee's off. Select the best of the two balls, then each player will hit from that position. Repeat this process until the ball is holed, no gimmies. A ball must be played with in one club length no nearer the hole but must stay in the similar cut of grass the ball originally came to rest. (Cant move from the rough to the fairway...) Balls on the putting green must be played within 6 inches of the selected ball.
Scramble Handicaps will be calculated by using 35% of PlayerA and 15% of PlayerB
