Format

18-Hole Stroke Play

 

Field

78 Players

 

Starting Times

8:30 - 11:00 a.m. (EST) (#1 & #10) Starting times will be distributed by email & text to all participants on Friday, December 13th.

 

Qualifying Spots

3 qualifying spots will be awarded into the field.

 

Ties

Ties for qualifying spots will be broken by a sudden death playoff immediately following the completion of play. (#18)

 

Practice Rounds

Official practice rounds are available starting Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 a.m. (EST) and will continue through Sunday, December 15th. Practice rounds will be open for booking upon the selection of the 78-person field at 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, November 16th. To book a practice round tee-time, please call the Ocean Forest Golf Shop (912) 638-5835. Practice rounds are for participants only.

 

Transportation

Players must not use any form of transportation during their round, unless approved by the committee.

 

Caddies

A player may be assisted by a caddie but is limited to only one caddie at any one time. Players may bring their own caddie or employ the services of a Club caddie. Please note: Local Club caddies are $160 per day ($80 base rate + automatic $80 gratuity/tip). Local Club caddies will be available for the practice round and tournament round. All local Club caddie fees will be billed through Golf Genius using the same payment information that you provided during the registration process. Pull carts are prohibited for both the practice and competition rounds.

 

Rules

USGA Rules will govern all play.

 

Distance Measuring Devices

Distance measuring devices may be used for the purpose of obtaining yardage only.

 

Entry Fee

$250 (Includes Practice Round & 1 Yardage Book - Additional yardage books will be available for purchase for $25)

 

Cancellation Policy

Registration will close at 5:00 p.m (EST). on Saturday, November 16th. Cancellations made before the registration deadline will be refunded the entire entry fee minus a $10 service charge. Cancellations made within two weeks of the event will receive no refund.

 

Successful Qualifiers

Entry fees paid by successful qualifiers will be applied toward the entry fee into the 2025 Jones Cup Invitational.
