Four-Ball Defined- Four-Ball is a form of play involving partners where:

  • Two partners compete together as a side, with each player playing their own ball
  • side’s score for a hole is the lower score of the two partners on that hole.
  • 36-hole stroke play event, flights determined by first round scores
  • Round 1(Saturday October 5th) BLUE TEES
  • Round 2 (Sunday October 6th) GOLD TEES
  • Play the ball as it lies with the exception of hole #9. Any ball coming to rest on the right side of the cart path as you look at the hole from the tee may be lifted, cleaned and place within 1 club length.
  • All penalty areas are played as lateral penalty areas (red stakes & lines)
  • Ground Under Repair:  All roped areas except on hole #9, nearest point of relief no closer to the hole and one club length for relief or you may play the ball as it lies
  • Out of bounds east of #4 (white stakes, fence line), north of #5 (fence line), behind
  • #5 green (white stakes), behind #7 green (fence line) and behind #9 green (white stakes)
  • In the event of a tie in either flight for 1st place a sudden death playoff will occur starting on #18
  • All other ties for payout places will remain tied and split prize money
  • Distance measuring devices allowed for measuring distance only, no measurement for slope or other conditions allowed.
  • Ball must be holed to count as your sides score for any given hole
  • PACE OF PLAY:  Keep up with the group ahead of you. Expectation for this event is to play 9 holes in no more than 2 hours and 15 minutes and finish 18 holes in no more than 4 hours and 30 minutes, however 4 hours should be an achievable pace.
  • NO MULLIGANS

Skins Game:  $20.00 per player, cash only, includes both days of play. Pot will be split in half and each day will be a separate skins game.

 

Calcutta to take place Saturday evening after play approx. 5:30 pm, with professional auctioneer Terry Brick!

A complimentary drink of your choice will be provided to all who attend the Calcutta auction!
