SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

• 7:00-7:45AM:              Registration, & Chic-fil-a Breakfast (Clubhouse Porch)
  • • • • Range Balls can be obtained from dispenser at no charge
• 8:00AM-12:00PM:      Shotgun Start
• 12:15-1:00:                  Lunch – Burgers & Hotdogs in Snack Bar
• 1:15-3:15:                    9-Holes; groups determined at lunch
  • • • • Back 9 Shotgun – all teams play Alternate Shot (4 teams per hole – eightsomes)
• 3:15-4:00:                    Awards

FORMATS

GROSS SCORES ONLY MUST BE ENTERED IN THE GOLF GENIUS APP USING EACH GROUP’S UNIQUE GGID. 

AM Front 9:  Captain’s Choice

• Handicap:  Team handicap will consist of 35% of A player and 15% of B player
• Exception for Rule 9.1:  Players may lift, clean, and place ball within one (1) club’s length anywhere including bunkers and penalty areas.  Ball must stay in same conditions (ball in rough stays in rough, bunker – bunker, etc.)

AM Back 9:  Best Ball

• Handicap:  Each player will receive 85% of playing handicap
• Exception for Rule 9.1:  Players may lift, clean, and place ball within one (1) club’s length of its original position in closely mown area of the hole being played only.

PM Back 9:   Alternate Shot

• Handicap:  Team handicap will be 50% of total team playing handicap
• Exception for Rule 9.1:  Players may lift, clean, and place ball within one (1) club’s length of its original position in the general area of play (must play ball as it lies in bunkers or penalty areas)
• Players may change ball in play if preferred only when lift, clean, and place exception is granted in general area (players may not change golf ball if hitting from penalty area or bunker)
• Players on each team will rotate tee shots each hole regardless of who holes the ball on the previous hole

FLIGHTING

                        Morning Rounds (18-Holes – Front 9 Captain’s Choice / Back 9 Best Ball)

• Teams assigned to 1 of 4 flights predetermined by total team playing handicap.
• Winners determined by low 18-hole net total within each flight)

Afternoon Round (9-Holes Alternate Shot)

• After 18 holes, teams will be ranked based on total net score within each flight.
• Teams will then be reflighted into 9 groups of 4-6 teams each for the final 9 hole round based on each team’s finish within their morning flights
  • (ie. All four 1^st place flight finishers will be paired together as an eightsome on Hole #10; 2^nd place in each flight on Hole #11; 3^rd place on Hole #12, etc.)

• Teams will be playing Alternate Shot format and will be competing against the other 3-4 teams on the same starting hole.

SCORING/RESULTS

AM Flight Winners:     Low 18-Hole AM totals within each flight (Captain’s Choice + Best Ball)

*Ties will be broken by score on #1 handicap hole, then 2, then 3, etc.

PM Group Winners:    Low Team within each afternoon group (Alternate Shot 9-hole total only)

*4 teams per group; all starting on same hole

*Ties will be broken by score on #1 handicap hole, then 2, then 3, etc.

Overall Low Gross:      27-Hole Aggregate Gross Total

            *Ties broken by Alternate Shot, then Best Ball, then Captain’s Choice

            *Must record official score in accordance with the rules on each hole

Overall Champions:  27-Hole Aggregate Net Total

*In the case of inclement weather, the initial goal will be to complete the morning formats, awarding winners within each flight and Overall Champions.

**To be eligible for Overall Member-Guest Champions, teams must post an official score on each of the 27 holes in the event in accordance with the rules.
