Golf Course:
9 Hole Par 3 Course
Format:
Each week's round has a different format played 'individually'.
There are two divisions within the GAC Autumn Series (Depending on the size of the field).
- Division A - Division index cut-off determined by most equal field size.
- Division B - Division index cut-off determined by most equal field size.
Round 1 - 10th September
Round 2 - 17th September
Round 3 - 24th September
Round 4 - 1st October
Round 5 - 8th October
Round 6 - 15th October
Round 7 - 22nd October
Round 8 - 29th October
Round 9 - 5th November
Round 10 - 12th November
Round 11 - 19th November
Round 12 - 26th November
Round 13 - 3rd December
Round 14 - 10th December
Order of Merit:
Prizes will be awarded to the Top 2 Places in Division A and Division B each week. The player who has accumulated the most points will be the Order of Merit winner who will also receive a prize.
Order of Merit Points are awarded from 10 points for the 1st place, to 1 point for the 10th place in each division.
Price Per Player:
ECGC Members - Free of Charge
Members Guests - QAR 130 Green fee
Guests - QAR 150 Green fee
Handicapping:
- Players without a handicap index will start with a 0 and be adjusted weekly.
- 1 stroke deduction for a win, plus 0.5 stroke deduction for each stroke below the handicap (no max)
- 0.5 strokes increase for every stroke above the handicap after a buffer of 2 strokes.
- Handicap limit - 18
Time:
Tee times will be allocated from 5:00 pm onwards.
8-minute intervals are used on the 9-hole course.
