About the Golfweek International Junior Invitational presented by USA Today Sports: The Golfweek Junior Tournament Series is now in its 25th year. All events in the Series are nationally ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard while 54-hole tournaments are counting events for the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) administered by the R&A and USGA. The Golfweek International Junior Invitational is the flagship event of the Series and annually boasts one of the strongest fields in junior golf.

 

Eligibility requirements: Any golfer age 13-19 at the start of the tournament that is not enrolled in college can register. Players are placed on a pending registration list and will be accepted based on junior rankings and resume. All players are encouraged to register regardless of standing.

 

Format: 36 holes stroke play. Walking and caddies are not permitted.

 

Divisions: Boys & Girls

 

Tees: Boys play approximately 7,000 yards; Girls play approximately 6,000 yards. (Yardage based on weather conditions and may change daily)

 

Conditions of play: USGA Rules of Golf shall be in effect.

 

Entry Fee: $325

 

Tournament registration includes: Two rounds of tournament golf, tee gift, lunch on Saturday and practice balls prior to your round. Spectator carts will be available to rent.

 

Entry Deadline: 12pm Saturday, October 26 or until the field is full.

 

Entry Requirements: Registration is open to players ranked in the Junior Golf Scoreboard or the WAGR Rankings. All players who register will be pending, subject to review by the Tournament Selection Committee. Any non-ranked player who registers must submit a playing resume for consideration. All players are encouraged to register.

Boys and Girls Champions: 8 Performance Stars

Boys top 5 and Girls top 3: 4 Performance Stars

Boys top 10 and Girls top 5: 1 Performance Stars

Saturday, Nov. 2: 7:30am - Tee Times begin on #1 & #10 (Lunch following round)

 

Sunday, Nov. 3: 7:30am - Tee Times begin on #1 & #10 (Awards ceremony to follow immediately upon winners being determined)

Practice Round: To schedule a practice round you can e-mail bashe@celebrationgolf.com  
The rate is $75 Monday-Thursday and $85 Friday-Sunday. This will include green fee and cart fee. All golfers must use a cart during the practice round and will need someone with a driver’s license to drive the cart.

Cancellation and refund policy: Any player who wishes to cancel from the event, must notify Tournament Director Lance Ringler via email, lringler@golfweek.com. Players who cancel on or before October 2, 2024 will receive a full refund less a $45 processing fee. Cancellations that take place from October 2, 2022 to October 16, 2024 will receive a full refund less a $85 cancellation fee. Cancellations that take place after October 16, 2024 will result in no refund. NO EXCEPTIONS

 

*Please note: Refunds cannot be processed unless a player cancels via email contact with Lance Ringler (lringler@golfweek.com). Players who cancel directly through the tournament web site are cleared from the portal and have no means of refund.
