Hampshire Golf is hosting an R&A Level 2 Rules of Golf Seminar at Hockley Golf Club on Thursday 3^rd and Friday 4^th October 2024

• The cost is £70 per person, including refreshments and lunch on both days.

• The Seminar is suitable for anyone with a keen interest in the Rules of Golf, particularly people who have done well in the R&A online Level 1 Rules exam.

Overview

The R&A Level 1 Rules Seminar and/or Online Academy introduces delegates to the main playing Rules. The Level 2 Seminar is a more in-depth study of the Rules of Golf, looking at the more important playing Rules in detail, as well as an introduction to refereeing and Committee Procedures.

What does the L2 Seminar consist of?

The L2 Seminar includes 7 hours of classroom-style presentations and 5.5 hours of outdoor practical demonstrations and role play sessions, spread across the two days. Preparation material will be made available to delegates in advance of the Seminar.

Timing is anticipated to be approximately 08:30 to 17:00 each day.

Who is the L2 Seminar aimed at?

The Level 2 Seminar is aimed at those who wish to gain a thorough understanding of the Rules of Golf, for example to improve the service they provide as a golf administrator or if they have an interest in starting their journey as a referee. To get the most out of the seminar, delegates should arrive with a good understanding of the Rules of Golf and should therefore have already passed the Online Level 1 Exam with a mark of at least 80%.

Exam

Attendees will have the opportunity to sit an online Level 2 exam sometime after the seminar. The exam is 90 minutes long.
