The Bruiser Invitational

Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10, 2024

 

This is a 2-day, 2-person team event that consists of five 9-hole matches and a Championship Shootout for qualified teams.  Entry fee includes green/cart fees, daily prizes, food, on-course beverages, awards, a welcome bag valued at over $100 (per player)…and chance to win $5,000 in the putting contest.

 

Tournament is open to the public. 

 

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTE:  GHIN field is required.  If you do not have a registered GHIN, please use 999999.

 

First come, first served.  Tournament will have a minimum of 42 and maximum of 60 teams.  After the 42-team minimum has been met, teams will be accepted in 6 team increments.

 

The tournament begins with a shotgun start on Friday at 9 am with the first of three 9-hole matches that day. Following the matches on Friday will be a spouse friendly cocktail hour(s) and conclusion of the $5,000 putting contest. 

 

The tournament continues on Saturday with two 9-hole matches beginning with a shotgun start 9:00 AM.  Following pool play, the top two teams from each 6-team pool will participate in the Championship Shootout…Spouses/spectators welcome.

 

Tournament entry fee is $350 per team.

 

An optional skins game and player’s pool will be available for both Friday and Saturday rounds.

 

Some, not all, local rules will include:

1) All players to play the White Tees except for anyone 65 & older with an index of 12.6 or greater may play from the Gold Tees.

2) Course will be marked and ball will be played down.

3) Maximum playing handicap (not index) of 18.
