第２回グリコパラゴルフ選手権

 

昨年に続き第２回グリコパラゴルフ選手権の開催が決定！
ようみうりカントリークラブ(兵庫県)にて2025年4月2~3日に開催いたします。

 

グリコパラゴルフ選手権は江崎グリコ株式会社様の特別協賛により昨年より開催されている日本初の世界ランカー(WR4GDパスの所有者)のみが出場できる障害者ゴルフトーナメントです。

 

トーナメントは2日間36ホール競技となりグロス、ネット、ステーブルフォードの３つの部門にて開催されます。日本国内でも日本障害者オープンゴルフ選手権、Japan Grandprix Open Championshipなどの世界ランキング対象試合が開催されておりますが、グリコパラゴルフ選手権は唯一世界ランカーのみが出場できる大会とされており、世界各国から注目を集めております。

 

今大会はR&A主催のG4D Open(全英障害者オープンゴルフ選手権)やUSGA主催のU.S. Adaptive Open(全米障害者オープンゴルフ選手権)などにも繋がるトーナメントとなり、WR4GDランキング(世界ランキング)が上がる事で各国の様々なトーナメントへの出場権を得る事ができます。

The 2nd Glico Paragolf Championship has been confirmed following last year’s successful event!
It will take place at Yomiuri Country Club in Hyogo Prefecture on April 2~3, 2025

 

This tournament which started last year, hosted with special sponsorship from Ezaki Glico Co., Ltd., is Japan’s first para-golf tournament exclusively for world-ranked players holding a WR4GD (World Ranking for Golfers with Disability) pass.

 

The 36 hole competition will span two days with three divisions: Gross, Net, and Stableford. While there are other world ranking events held in Japan such as the Japan Disabled Open Golf Championship and the Japan Grandprix Open Championship, the Glico Paragolf Championship is the only tournament limited to world-ranked players, drawing significant attention from around the globe.

 

This tournament also serves as a gateway to prestigious tournaments such as the G4D Open organized by the R&A and the U.S. Adaptive Open hosted by the USGA. By improving their WR4GD ranking, players can secure eligibility for a variety of international tournaments.

※In case of cancellation, a full refund (minus a 1000 yen administrative fee) will be issued up to one week before the tournament. For cancellations within one week of the tournament, the full entry fee will be charged.
※Please submit your most recent handicap index at the registration desk on the day before the tournament. If you do not submit your handicap index, you may still participate in the competition, but your results will not be included in the WR4GD rankings.
