The Pelly 3.0 2024

 

Match Play

• Each team is flighted by the combined team handicap index. 
  • There is a 10 shot differential in place lowering the higher handicap players index. 
• Format = Best Ball (Off the low, 80% of handicap.)
• There will be 5 matches to earn points over the course of the weekend. 
  • Hole won = 1 point 
  • Hole tied = .5 point 
  • Hole lost = 0 points 
• Day Money (CASH): Day Money is paid out based on total points earned on that day. 
• Skins (CASH): Will be paid out within the flight. 

 

Pelly Thon 

• The winners of each flight within the division + the top point total in 2nd place from all the flights within the division will make up the 4 teams playing in the Pelly Thon*.
• Division 4 will be made up of the 4 flight winners. 
  • *NOTE: If there is a tie for 1st within a flight the tiebreaker will be the head to head match up from match play. If match ended up in a tie then teams will play a 1 hole playoff on hole #1 on the Lakes course. 
• • If teams are still tied after playoff hole the winner will be decided by a chip off.
  • If a team comes in a tie for 1st place and does not win the head to head match up this team will become the wild card team based off finishing in T1 for their flight. 
• Teams will then be re seeded based upon point totals. (1v4 , 2v3) 
• Teams will play a 2 hole aggregate match (wheeled off the low). Scores will then reset and the winning teams will repeat the same process. 
• Once 5 division winners have been crowned all 5 teams will meet on HOLE #16 of the LAKES. 
  • The team with the highest score after hole 16 will be eliminated. 
  • If there is a 2 way tie the tiebreaker will be a chip off between those 2 teams taking the 1 low team. 
  • The final 3 teams will play holes 17/18 in a 2 hole aggregate best ball.
  • If teams are still tied after hole 18 they will replay #18 until a winner is determined. 

 

Pelly Race

• Flights will be divided up into 5 divisions to make up the waves for the Pelly Race.
  • Flights 1-3 = Division 1 
  • Flights 4-6 = Division 2 
  • Flights 7-9 = Division 3 
  • Flights 10-13 = Division 4 
• Format =TRUE ALT SHOT
  • 1 team from each division will play holes 8 and 9 on Pelican Falls to crown the winner of the Pelly Race. 
  • It will be handicap by tee box.

 

Pelly Dunk

• $5 = 5 Balls - $20 = 20 Balls 
• Attempt to dunk a wedge shot into the horse trough on the range. Ball must stay in the trough. Unlimited attempts within the qualifying window. MAX amount of makes is 2. 
• Finals will take place right after on hole 18 on the Lakes course.
