Player of the Year Points Standings:
Rules:
All tournament play is to be by USGA rules except for local rules below.
TEES: All players/flights will play from the ONE UP tees
OUT OF BOUNDS: If a player hits a ball out of bounds, he has two choices. Option1: re-tee hitting 3 (normal USGA rule) OR Option 2: he can drop the ball two club lengths into the fairway from where the group decides the ball CROSSED the OB boundary (stroke, distance, +1 additional penalty stroke).
LOST BALL: Similar to the OB rule above, if a player loses a ball, he may replay the ball from the original spot, losing stroke & distance OR he may play from the spot upon which the group determined the ball most likely would have been, losing stroke, distance, +1 additional penalty stroke (as if he went back and re-hit the ball to that point).
LIFT CLEAN PLACE: Player may lift, clean, and place the ball at any point within one club length in the fairway through the green.
PLAYOFF: In the event that the Tour Championship ends in a tie for first place on either the overall gross or overall net, a sudden death playoff will immediately follow play. Net playoff will be (1/18*handicap) rounded to the nearest half shot. If no playoff is possible (both players left), a sudden-death scorecard playoff starting on the hardest hole will determine the winner. If one player remains for a playoff and another leaves, the playoff will be awarded to the player remaining.
QUESTIONS: If there are any questions/scenarios that need further clarification, play two balls and contact tournament staff at completion of round for official ruling.
